Santiago and the Blue Crackers
A new iteration of a 45 year-old Blues Band, once named, "The Slidells" has reformed and it's original front man, Santiago Calderon is once again peppering Classic blues songs with his world-class songwriting. Expect Calderon to perform an hour of sit down Delta and Originals. The Blue Crackers, bass and drums is playing a two-hour electric set, again a mix of classics, ala Muddy and the Wolf and Calderon's inciteful songwriting. Drummer "Steady Rollin'" George Lala is providing the machine like beat with Craig Weeks holding down the bottom end on bass. NOTEWORTHY IS THAT ORIGINAL SLIDELL, MARSHALL FOLGER and fellow guitar slinger with Calderon is making an attempt to attend as well. About Calderon, Marshall wrote "Be prepared for the Grand Wizard of slide guitar, Santiago. He went on to extol the praises of Calderon's songwriting stating the basics also stated by former WI Blues Society President, Tom Radai (RIP) saying, Santiago can write a damn good song about damn near anything. If Marshall can make it expect a guitar playing tour de force if they meet. Marshall joined the Slidell's with Santiago when he was 14 years old. They still play and write together whenever they can.

Too Sick Charlie and his genuine one man band have gained a reputation of playing uncompromising, no-nonsense roots music that spans Folk blues to American street harmonica and more… With his 3 string cigar box guitar he picks out foot tappin’ licks and lays down some solid beats with his drum kit. And throw in some soulful harp for good measure.

Cooking 101 - Kid' Culinary Adventure
Come join us at the Water Street Social Club for a fun-filled day of cooking! Kids aged 6 to 10 will learn basic cooking skills and create delicious dishes. After the cooking session, there will be a tasting where everyone can sample the yummy creations. Our menu has hummus and veggies for the appetizer. For the main, pizza. And lastly, for our dessert, apple slices with delicious
toppings.

Cooking 101 - Italian Cuisine
Join us at Water Street Social Club for an engaging class, where we'll discuss some of the essential cooking techiniques in Italian cooking and learn about some classic dishes. Perfect for home cooks of all skill levels, this session will introduce you to key preparation methods, ingredient selection, and expert tips to elevate your cooking.
During the class, you’ll learn about the preparation process and gain the confidence to recreate amazing dishes at home. The experience concludes with an Italian meal.
Your ticket includes a recipe guide, the class, and the meal for $40. Suggested wine pairings are available for an additional cost.

Cinco de Mayo Cookie Decorating Class
Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Alicia from Royally Sweet Cookies is here to help! In this 2 hour class, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (we’ll even provide the apron ). FREE DRINK included with your class ticket!
This month we will be doing a Cinco de Mayo set.
You’ll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we’ll cover in class. We look forward to having you with us!
About this Class
This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you’re trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We will be doing a festive Cinco de Mayo theme set that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in – we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, at least 4 icing colors and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate! You will even get a free drink with your ticket!
This class is on Monday, May 5th and starts at 6:30pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family – we have seating for up to 20 people! It’s a blast whether you’re coming with a friend, family member, or solo!
This class is good for ages 10+, but if you’d like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus – we’ll send you with the decorating steps so you can teach them yourself!
The class will be held in the upstairs room of The Water Street Social Club located at 550 Water Street, Prairie du Sac WI 53578. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! There is street parking right in front of the building. If you want to secure a parking spot, come a little early to grab drinks and appetizers or dinner before class!

Kentucky Derby Day

We will have the races on all day, as well as food and drink specials including Kentucky Hot Brown sandwiches, and of course, Mint Juleps!
Wear your best hat, your best suit, and come down for an afternoon and evening of fun!
We will host race pools for some of the daytime races leading up to the Derby, and for the Derby itself. Make sure you check back if you are interested in participating!

Honey Pies Band
The Honey Pies is an exciting collaboration of Madison-based music veterans. Jodi Jean Amble made a major splash in the Chicago scene fronting her eponymous band—nominally jazz, but equally at home with pop, country, and more—and as a member of the highly eclectic ensemble Jenny Dragon. Tom Waselchuk leads the MAMA Award-winning Americana band The Dang-Its and has performed for more than twenty years in a free-
swinging guitar duo with multi-instrumentalist Doug Brown. Doug has long been among the most in-demand freelance sidemen on the Madison music scene in a variety of genres, as well as being a band-leader, composer, and arranger. Matt Rodgers is among southern Wisconsin’s busiest bass players, equally at home in most any style of music.
